Alka, a Fellow Chartered Manager/Fellow Chartered Marketer, has over 21 years of strategic management/marketing experience -mainly working with SMEs. She is Company Secretary/Senior Manager of an Accountancy practice, (21 years), MD of her business of 20 years, providing Strategic Marketing/Company Secretarial services, inc formation of limited companies, CICs, Charities etc. She is also CEO of bh40 be happy for nothing operating in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America -since inception, in 2020, bh40 has a global team of over 150. Bh40, under her leadership developed 57 small independent sustainable businesses and community projects globally in slum and povertystricken communities for orphanages in Kenya and Uganda, as well as establishing 25 new independent businesses under their “bh40 Youthpreneurs” scheme in Nigeria and has pending projects in Ghana and The Gambia for youth development and driving sustainability. Bh40 Empowerment centres were launched in slum areas of Kenya, Pakistan for girl/women crime victims such as FGM, sex trafficking and in United States and mental health (Canada).
