Cheryl Hooper makes a positive difference to the world by inspiring and influencing people to improve their lives and the lives of other individuals in the wider community. She is the Director and Founder of Oxford Academy for NGO Development, a specialist online platform providing training and capacity building for NGOs worldwide and uses this to help NGOs grow and increase their impact. She has a long-standing career in international development and is the CEO of an international charity and an independent Consultant for NGOs globally. Her work has taken her to witness extreme poverty in different parts of the world and to understand and experience a wide range of cultures and people. Cheryl has been writing professionally since 1995 and has written her first women’s fiction novel published by Europe Books. She is a qualified life coach and the co-founder of The Conscious Company, a sustainable fashion brand developed in collaboration with her daughter. Her work is underpinned by the desire to make the world a better place, sharing skills, building knowledge, and the belief in the power of positivity and that thoughts create actions.
