I have served as board member for the national advisory council for the Mexican sea cucumber fisheries management program promoted by the Environment and Natural Resources Ministry. I have developed my professional career in scientific research, agrobusiness, renewable energy and logistics. She has studied in universities from Mexico (Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey), Sweden (Jonkoping University), Spain (Instituto de Investigaciones Ecológicas) and USA (Masachusetts Institute of Technology & SMU Cox). I was honored with the maximum recognition in marine biology when a new sea cucumber species was named after her (Epitomapta simentalae). I founded Pacific Bioculture SAPI de CV in 2017 for the innovative sea cucumber culture, and she is angel investor for 3 companies: Nativmex SAPI de CV (Cannabis research for therapeutics), SKT Technologies SAPI de CV (Traditional medicine products from Tarahumara culture) and IQ Labs SA de CV (Brain research).
