Irena P. Radovic is a highly accomplished professional in the field of sustainable finance and corporate social responsibility. As the Executive Director of the Investment and Development Fund (IDF) of Montenegro, she has made history as the first female head of the national development financial institution. Her impressive career spans over twenty years in banking, finance, and diplomacy, and she has held several senior positions, including Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro, Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador of Montenegro to France and UNESCO Executive Board, Head of British Office in Montenegro, Lecturer on International Economics, Globalisation of the world trade and the Monetary economics of the EU.
Ms Radović's commitment to driving change towards a sustainable future is reflected in her membership in key national councils such as the National Competitiveness Council and the
National Sustainable Development Council. She is also a Board member of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro and the National Privatisation Council.
Ms Radović's academic achievements are equally impressive, with a PhD in Economics from the University of Montenegro, an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, and a Master's Degree in Economics from the Consortium for Research and Continuing Education in Economics. She is an alumna of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration and All Souls College, University of Oxford.
Ms Radović's many accolades include the Legion d'Honneur, awarded to her in 2022, making her the first woman in Montenegro to receive the prestigious honor. She has also been recognized
with the Women's Economic Empowerment award by the National Business Association/the Montenegrin Union of Employers and the Sovereign Knight Grand Cross with Collar of the Order of Saint Charles, the highest award of the Principality of Monaco of the Order of Grimaldi.
