Isabela has over 25 years of expertise in the shipping and trading industries as a trader and operator, starting with the metals sectors, fuel trading and renewable energies.

Throughout her career, Isabela held a variety of leadership and management positions with a number of prestigious companies; one of her greatest successes was leading a team with an equal representation of men and women on the trading desk.

For the last five years, she has been working with various shipowners to ensure smooth transition within industry regulations and to bring digitisation to the shipping industry, through various projects such as blockchain, DNA and renewable energy.

As part of the renewable energy programmes, she has been working on hydrogen fuel cells, using waste as their primary source, in an effort to market cutting-edge technology to communities and society at large, as well as the transport industry, particularly connected to ships and ports.
