Meeta is a board member at Justina Mutale Leadership Foundation, she speaks, moderates and chairs side and parallel events held in the wings of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (New York) She has co-chaired and moderated UN International Day of Girls & Women online events. She speaks at the UK’s Houses of Parliament on STEM. She is an Executive Coach, accredited Strengthscope consultant, Project Management professional/ trainer, and Authentic Leadership trainer. She has more than 11 yrs of experience in successfully leading projects in IT Telecoms and Television production in the corporate sector including with multiple FTSE 300 companies such as Ericsson UK, managing subprojects in Sweden, USA, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands and with Ericsson Australia. She has managed matrix organisation while coordinating and delivering multimillion-pound projects working with Sales, Marketing, R& D, Product Mgmt, Quality Assurance, Support office, and all major internal and external stakeholders, to ensure end-to-end customer accounts receivables. As a Project leader, she has represented Ericsoon at the board level, while leading Global First Office Applications and friendly trials for Voice Messaging systems for the successful rollout of 25 million pounds Y2k for the Fortune 500 companies & the world’s second-largest mobile phone company- Vodafone group. She has also pioneered success for Virgin Media and One-to-One/T-Mobile accounts At Ericsson UK. She led international teams of IT & Telecoms projects from conceptualisation, pre-study, feasibility study, and execution to implementation of multi-million-pound customer projects for Cellular Systems and Special Networks, which brought new business and helped market expansion and development. In India, at Educational Media Research Centre, University Grants Commission, Meeta was part of the team producing & directing Higher Educational TV programmes for National Telecast, Countrywide Classrooms, on various subjects: Remote Sensing, Space Communication, Physics, Aviation, Architecture, Adventure Sports, Medicine, Fine Arts, Sculpture, Environment and Ecology. She worked closely with High officers & Director of the Space Application Centre which focuses on the design of space-borne instruments for Indian Space Research Organisation- missions and development and operationalisation of applications of space technology for societal benefits. The applications cover communication, broadcasting, navigation, disaster monitoring, meteorology, oceanography, environment monitoring and natural resources survey. At EMRC she also liaised with high officers of the Physical Research Laboratory and Plasma Research Centre. She provides honorary services at the College of Chaplains and has been recently appointed as Senior Chaplaincy Advisor (internal) at the University of Surrey, where she also advises higher officials on the importance of strategising & enhancing values. During the pandemic, she broadcasted live programmes on social media on the potential effects-post COVID-19 on Mental Health, the Medical sector, Sports, Performance, Social sciences and Academics sectors. She is an advocate of student engagement with an emphasis on giving home any from home experience to the International diaspora and providing cultural, pastoral care to both Staff and students. She led a team of students for the European Faith Leadership Programme in Brussels. She is an active member of Surrey Embracing Ethnic Diversity at the University. Her Faith’s academic Chaplaincy has been recently recognised Globally at par with 30 other British Contributors of the same faith. Meeta sits on the board of trustees at various non-profit organisations including a Queen’s award-winning Race Equality charity- Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum, & she also works with the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey and other faith leaders. She speaks at TEDx ( UCSD) and at the U-Moon Conference alongside the Chief Financial Officer of NASA for California Research Analogue Deep Space and Lunar Exploration. She is a multi-award winner. She holds a post-graduate qualification in Digital Systems- Electronics from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, U.K., and also holds a Master's in Development Communications/ in Social Sciences and she also holds a Bachelor’s in Physics from India.
