As a first-generation Indian-Canadian woman, Parul has been grateful for pursuing opportunities towards bringing a multi-disciplinary approach in building sustainable international partnerships and pursuing quality education. She led and participated in campus advocacy unions such as Students United and IGNITE at Humber College as Board of Director, which aimed to foster the promotion of equity, access, and inclusion for newcomer students on campus. Parul also had the opportunity to work closely with the United Nations Populations Fund (UNPF) and Youth Humanitarian Leaders Bureau while engaging in formulating communication strategies for research about women in an Internet-mediated world and their role in using and understanding Technologies. As a Public Relations student Parul’s process of engagement involves transparent dialogue, respect and integrity that can accelerate the importance of storytelling within the political and economic aspects in Canada.
