Pravin G Patel, born in Kenya, product of Boarding school in India and studied Mechanical Engineering at Kings College in London. Pravin a UK citizen residing in UK since 1965. Pravin has 45 years of experience as an entrepreneur engaged in starting and building up successful businesses in research and development contact lenses, polymers, and eye care products. Pravin’s most significant role was in establishing Igel International Ltd (now Ultravision). Igel was the only company that had technology to apply colour to contact lenses for cosmetic applications. After having sold the company Pravin established another contact lens company which was sold in 2002. Since then Pravin has concentrated providing advice to companies large and small in raising finance with focus on India, EU and Africa.
