Shambhavi is an incoming MBA candidate at the University of Oxford (Said Business School) ’23-‘24. She intends to use her work experience to date along with an Oxford education to embark upon a professional journey driven by inclusive growth, sustainability, and equity. She has worked across the spectrum of nonprofit, public (Government Advisor and Social Audit), and private (NBFC and Clean Energy) organizations, enabling her to garner a holistic understanding of social impact in India. While at an NBFC, she focused on financial inclusion of the unbanked and underbanked, developing a firm grasp of the grassroots financial geography of India. As a Government Advisor, she used evidence-based policymaking to increase welfare schemes’ effectiveness through social audit and financial innovations. At present, as a Project Manager with a clean energy startup, she is exposed to cutting-edge technology and operations in the climate change industry.
