Sushma Bhanot MRPharmS, R.S.Hom, Dip(Ayurv), Co-director Coolherbals Pharmacist, Ayurvedic Consultant, Homoeopath, Lecturer, Author and Philanthropist. Sushma Bhanot is a pharmacist by profession. Since becoming co-director of Coolherbals -the No .1 Ayurvedic company in the UK,she has worked tirelessly to inspire women to be the best in their business as well as training and educating women in gaining skills in health and beauty to branch out and have a career for themselves .She has given them a LifeSkill , to be financially independent. She would like to be a pillar of support for such people and already is achieving this. She feels she has the power to collectively change the world through her work and already has made an impact. Sushma Bhanot was recently nominated for the AWA for the work in inspiring women to set up their own business in the Beauty & Health Sector. Taking part in Education and Training Fairs has been a source of guidance in regards to career development for many young females, particularly in the South Asian demographic segment. Coolherbals are pioneering on getting yoga on to the NHS and therapists being the first line in taking advantage of this. Coolherbals recently launched International Yoga Day at the Houses of Parliament. Also they are organizing road shows nationwide to give salon owners the knowledge and support they need. She organises FREE training sessions , more recently by Zoom to ensure women’s self esteem remains intact . This can only occur through education . Sushma is also Co -founder of The Great British Chai Party Charity. The Great British Chai Party has been co-founded by Kiran Bhanaut and Sushma Bhanot to help tackle loneliness and social isolation within our growing aged population in this country. Although there is lots of good work being done for the elderly this issue is still not fully addressed and our aim is to arrange the tea parties as a platform to help our elderly community. Her goal Is to educate the public in caring for our elderly population who have given us so much . She produced a booklet during the Covid crises on caring for the elderly. Her book on Women’s Health during Covid and beyond has been written to create awareness for women and how they can look after their healrh during this pandemic . Bob Blackman MP launched The Great British Chai Party, as part of International Women’s Day celebrations in Parliament. He was joined by Baroness Jenkin of Kennington, Co-founder of Women2Win, Baroness Sandip Verma, former Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for International Development and Ministerial Champion for tackling Violence Against Women and Girls Overseas and Lord Dolar Popat, Prime Minister’s Envoy for Uganda and Rwanda.
